Failing To Improve Your Game
In any sport, the key to getting better is to practice. You
have to get out there and do it. Keep practicing and your
game will improve. Now if you are bowling for the sheer recreation
of it, then holding bowling practice probably isn't really
a big issue. Who knows, maybe bowling is just a great way
to enjoy a night out with friends. If this is the case, then

The first thing to consider about your practice sessions
is to decide on what you will focus on. Now you might be thinking,
don't I just want to practice getting strikes? The short answer
to that question is no. Just as a baseball player doesn't
just work at hitting homeruns or a basketball player tries
to perfect the slam dunk, bowlers need to practice more than
just getting strikes. Well, at least work on the mechanics
to getting a strike. There is more to bowling than just getting
strikes. Yes, it is true we strive to get a perfect 300 hundred
game but the hard fact is no one gets strikes all the time.
Let's be honest, not even the pros are able to have a perfect
game everytime. But they sure do come close a lot.
What's their secret? It's practice. Skills take time and effor
to hone and harness. No one can wake up one day and then all
of a sudden become the best. Even Tiger Woods will change
his swing in order to improve his game. And that is the secret
to becoming a better bowler. It is the ability and willingness
to focus on making adjustments to your game so you will improve.
